The Cares Route
This is one of the best known trails in the entire Cantabrian mountain range and no wonder, as this trail crosses the Picos de Europa National Park. One of the most spectacular mountain areas in the whole of the Iberian Peninsula, with incredible rocky landscapes and rugged peaks rising up to 2,650 metres high. You don't need a great deal of preparation to walk this trail, as you can cover its 12 kilometres in about four hours. You will also cross impressive sports, like Cares Gorge and small villages, like Poncebos, in Asturias, and Caín, in León.

The Bear Path
A perfect greenway for lovers of hiking and cycle touring, prepared for you to travel it with all the comforts while you enjoy beautiful landscapes, which make it the busiest greenway in Asturias. A 22-kilometre route on asphalted roads, with protective fences and a large number of recreational areas. This activity aims to take visitors to the places inhabited by the brown bear, specifically, a female species called “Molina”, the true star of the route, which is cared for by the Asturias Bear Foundation.

Las Xanas Gorge
A path carved into the rock will lead you to discover tunnels, gorges, deep forests and endless meadows. But don't worry, you don't need to be a great hiker to enjoy such wonderful views. It will take you about three hours to cover its eight kilometres. In fact, the little ones will love this route, as its name comes from the Xanas, Asturian fairies that give rise to a large number of stories and legends that will undoubtedly turn this hike into a real adventure. The site has also been a Natural Monument since 2002.

El Pino Gorges
The sound of the water of the river Pino will accompany you on every step of this beautiful trail. As you walk for about six kilometres along stone paths, you will be able to see how the rapid waters of the river create multiple waterfalls and cascades. All of this, while crossing the gorges, also known as canyons or gorges, so you can already imagine what you are going to find. Approximately one kilometre of vertical walls eroded by the river over thousands of years, which have created incredible stone landscapes through which you can stroll while enjoying nature in a peaceful setting.
