Situated next to the road, it is equipped with summer beach bars making for a lively atmosphere. Boats often anchor in the surrounding areas and on the beach.

This urban beach has all kinds of services available, is easily accessed on foot and by bar, and has handicapped access.

Just like any blue flag beach, this large sandy area that lies next to Sant Carles de la Rapita port has excellent services and facilities. There are also all sorts of hire shops. Garbi park lies right next to it.

Beach: Gargantera

This boulder beach is surrounded by cliffs. The easiest way of getting there is to leave the car at Bigaral Beach and follow the coast down in the direction of Luanco until you find it. In the surrounding cliffs there are four small caves.

Close to Arrieta, this beach is wide and quiet, its sand like gold. It has the European Union's blue flag. It has a car park, promenade, playground, toilets, bins and telephones.

Surrounded by huge, tourist complexes. Good for surfing.

Beach: Garraf

Heading towards Sitges, and before arriving in the village of Garraf. Surrounded by mountains that form the Sierra de Coma Roja, this beach is named after the stretch of coast known as Costa de Garraf. The marina also has the same name. Low houses at the same level as the beach surround this beach.

It is a beach which is some 400 metres long. There is a campsite nearby and at both sides of the beach there are rocky areas suitable for scuba-diving; in fact it also has a snorkelling club. At the back of the beach there is an area of trees and shade.

This beach is inside the La Albufera nature reserve and is a privileged spot in the shelter of the sand dunes. It is in an excellent location between the beaches of El Saler and La Devesa and just a short distance from the city of Valencia. The first 800-metre stretch, starting at the beach of El Saler, is a nudist beach.

Beach: Garrucha

Garrucha beach was created quite recently, and used to be a rocky shoreline. The remodelling led to a spacious, sandy beach where you can enjoy a day by the sea. Best of all, between swims you can try the local seafood in one of the beach bars or on the seafront promenade. This town is famous for the quality of its red shrimp.

With beautiful views of the San Esteban de Pravia lighthouse. From the view point of Ermita del Espíritu Santo you can see this beach. To get to it, go down a path that begins at the chapel.

The beach is known as the Pineda for the dense pine groves before you get to it. There is a daily cleaning service. You can park all along the beach and there are nearby campsites. There is a levelled area where you can picnic. There are also refreshment stands.

There is a promenade, known as the walkway of the King of Spain. Here you can find people windsurfing and renting pedal crafts for little sea trips.

Coming by car is easy, there is enough space for lots of cars. This place can get quite crowded.

You get to this cove on foot going down some steps. Here you can surf. There is a lifeguard service.

Beach: Los Genoveses

A walk through wild desert plants and low dunes of sand and rock brings us to the fabulous beach of Los Genoveses. Like all the beaches in the Natural Park, it is extremely beautiful. Some areas of the beach are nudist-friendly. At the end called Morrón de los Genoveses there are some cliffs worth seeing.

There are two areas, one older and another of more recent construction, separated by a wide street that ends in a patch of ground that acts as a car-park, where a small promenade begins with restaurants, bars, etc. ...

Beach: Giniginamar

Situated opposite some fishermen's houses and a small tourist complex of single-storey houses. The beach forms a bay which protects it from the strong waves, it has dark sand and stones and is quiet and secluded.

This large beach appears behind a cliff. Access is comfortable. In general, this area is still great for growing bananas.

Rather crowded, located between the Campoamor and Aguamarina Sailing Club. Beautiful beach near to the high apartments that make up Campoamor. It has all types of facilities including swings, football goals, volleyball nets, and open-air bars. Palm trees line the beach, which has fine sand.

A quiet beach whose surface is formed of boulders in grey tones. It is surrounded by steep cliffs with the odd house visible amongst the pines. Its sea bed is rocky and people come here to fish. It has lovely views of the port of Colera.

Public beach, only accessible on foot from Pinet or Tamrit beaches.

A beach located in a well connected urban area, with fine, golden sand. There are boats for hire, as well as sunbeds and sunshades, bars and restaurants.

To get to this beach, go to the botanical garden on the outskirts of Palafrugell. The surrounding area of rocks and pines is wonderful. The water is crystal clear and turquoise, perfect for scuba-diving.

Located next to the village, Golfo is a small, sandy beach used by local fishermen as a shelter.
