Beach: Muchavista

A long and large beach with soft sand. Here you can windsurf and bodyboard. A very touristy area that has a large variety of services such as restaurants and open-air bars.

It is a small, quiet beach set in a port and mooring area. It possesses a promenade with kiosks and restaurants. Accessible by bus or car, taking C-810 and turning on GC-140.

The beach is protected by a wharf and a breakwater. It is an excellent anchor point with its calm waters and is supervised by the Red Cross. There is a picnic area in Carmen park.

Small fishing boats usually line the shore. The boat ramp can also be used as wheelchair access. The breakwater protects it from the waves.

There are two artificial breakwaters to the right of this beach that give it its name. Located beside Sagunto street.

These two beaches are joined together by a promenade and can be reached from Cotobro Beach. They are classified as nudist beaches. The second beach, which is the furthest away is the most natural and unspoiled. The atmosphere is peaceful and is ideal for nudism. The most common pastime in the area is fishing.

This is one of the most emblematic beaches in Almería. The water is crystal clear, the place is spacious and uncrowded making it a paradise.

The beach is open with moderate waves. Four hundred metres away, there is a Red Cross first aid post. The water is transparent and an intense turquoise colour.

A beach which is 500 metres long and 85 metres wide. It is one of the most popular on this attractive part of the island. One section of this beach is a naturist area.

Mulas Cove is located in an unspoiled spot. The surrounding area is scrub.

At low tide this beach is exceptionally pretty because the sand is a volcanic colour, unusual for a beach. There is a good car park, toilets, showers, and Red Cross post. Behind the beach there are two houses which have privileged views. Surrounded by scrubland and rocks. Easily accessible and very well signposted.

Vast nudist beach, protected under the Plan of Protection of Open Spaces of Environmental Interest.

The remains of an Arab wall can be visited on the west side of the beach, and give the beach its name. Rod-fishing is very common, as is water-biking. An area designated for scuba-diving. The beach in itself is beautiful and well worth seeing. It is reached through the port of Sherry.

A quiet beach with shallow water and disabled access as there is a wooden ramp that leads down to the shore. It is located between Casetes de Capellans and Playa des Drag.

Visited by lots of young people. A hotel is going to be built here with thermal baths and other installations.

In front of the beach is the so-called Punta Alkotea which gives it a rugged look. it is divided by a quay, and continuing along it you can see a natural pool. A selection of services are available, such as showers, team of life guards opposite the natural pool.

A very good area for scuba-diving because the water is crystal clear with spectacular sea depths. The islands of Grand and Petit d'Addaic.

It is a very pleasant, extensive beach, with considerable vegetation in the surrounding residential developments. At one of the ends of the beach there is a place where you can hire jet-skis, kayaks, etc.

The beach is beautiful and the quality of the sand is excellent. The water is crystal-clear and ideal for water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, and scuba-diving. The beach area is full of palm trees. There are water platforms at 100 metres from the shore with steps to get onto them.

A very suitable beach for young children. There are views of the rock of Cabezo del Castañar.

Beach: Naval

A semi-urban beach with fine, white sand. Open to the sea. Surrounded by scrub and trees. From the beach there are magnificent views of A Coruña.

One of the most attractive beaches in the area for holiday tourism. In a very good state all year around and its sand is especially good. Close to the beach there are some apartments and lots of sport installations.
