Beach: La Carihuela

This beach has all the necessary facilities for a family to be comfortable in it. There are various restaurants and open-air bars. On its southern side, it borders with Benalmadena port and to the north with Torremolinos Point.

This shell-shaped beach is set in the heart of the village of Cariño. It is close to a small fishing port.

The sand is white and fine. The wild and lush vegetation is a wonderful setting for this beach. It has all the necessary services and facilities. There are a couple of open-air bars and you can also hire pedal boats. The beach is thin and long. The island of Benencia lies in the middle of the bay that makes up the beach in Arousa estuary.

Set in the residential complex of Perlora, it is private. You will find two beaches in the complex. Las Huelgas and Carranques. It is surrounded by hills. There is a great variety of services.

It is one of the vastest beaches in the areas. It is equipped with all kinds of facilities. At one of the ends lies the marina, and at the other, huge dunes of fine sand.

The beach is full of small rocks on which children tend to play. The beach is protected by a hillside, and a small lighthouse. There are many mussels that lie in the estuary. It has an open-air bar.

This beach offers a variety of amenities: it has a sailing club, a marina, a promenade, a children's park, an archaeological site and a windsurf and surf board hire shop. The beach is divided by various breakwaters which are ideal locations for fishing or for simply looking out at the sea. It has several restaurants.

This small beach has some areas where the water is very clear and calm. There is a large choice of accommodation near by and the nearest port is Puerto Rico. You can get there by bus or by car turning off at km 67 on C-812.
