San Esteban church tower

Segovia

It was built in the 13th century in late Romanesque style. It is 53 metres high, making it the tallest tower in Spanish Romanesque architecture. In its atrium there are arches and capitals decorated with engravings of medieval motifs. The interior is in Baroque style because it was rebuilt after a fire in the 19th century. Only the exterior can be visited.
