San Martín de Salas Museum of Pre-Romanesque Art

The museum is located in the chapel of the Valdés Salas palace and it exhibits a valuable collection of items and epigraphic tombstones from the church of San Martín, which is only one kilometre away from the town of Salas. The church was completely restored towards the end of the 15th century and on June 3, 1931 it was declared a National Monument of Historic-Artistic Interest.
