From the Iberian-Roman era
The Dávalos mansion, popularly known as the Casa del Torreón, houses remains found in the Roman city that is about 8 kilometres from the centre of the current city of Linares.
The museum is dedicated to the ancient Iberian-Roman city of Cástulo, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Upper Guadalquivir. It has an interesting collection of Iberian architectural pieces. For example, you can see zoomorphic figures, such as several lions and columns and capitals from the 5th to the 3rd century BC in very good condition.
