Hunting and fishing refuge
The rivers that run through the natural park are notable for the cleanliness of their waters. Inside the park there is a trout capture and restocking laboratory.
The O Invernadeiro Natural Park is part of the Central Massif of Ourense and has heights greater than 1,500 m. Its territory is delimited by the Ribeira Grande and Ribeira Pequeña rivers. Administratively it belongs to the municipality of Vilariño de Conso. The predominant vegetation is reforested pine forest, but there are also areas of gorse and heather thickets and native forests of sessile oak and Pyrenean oak. The most characteristic animals of the area are wolves, deer, roe deer, ibex, golden eagle, kestrel, wood pigeon, robin, rock partridge, wild boar, fox and marten.

Cultural information
The municipality of Laza is located near the O Invernadeiro Natural Park. In addition to the remains of the old Laza fort, visitors have the opportunity to admire the artistic and monumental aspects of the Retorta parish church, undoubtedly the municipality's most representative religious monument. A unique Gothic example built in the 15th century.

Environmental information
Alder, oak and birch groves are common along the riverbanks. Other plant species such as holly and gentian are less common. In the high landscape, there are heaths and gorse bushes. The fauna is notable for its large game specimens: Roe deer, red deer, wild boar, etc.
