The Bank of Spain exhibits an eclectic selection of clocks and works of art by authors from different periods and styles. The exhibition offers visitors the chance to see the portraits of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, commissioned to American photographer Annie Leibovitz.
Through the different pieces on display, the exhibition invites us to reflect on the notion of time, exploring its meaning beyond the conventions established by contemporary society. Leibovitz's work is presented in this context, conversing with the history of institutional art, sharing the somewhat disruptive vision of classical artists such as Goya when it comes to undertaking this type of work.
