A travelling exhibition that pays tribute to the work of artist Cristina García Rodero, the first Spanish member of the prestigious Magnum agency and a leading figure in contemporary photography.
The exhibition includes her famous Hidden Spain series of photographs, published in 1989, the result of a year travelling around Spanish villages to document and immortalise their festivals, rituals, traditions and ways of life with her camera. This work, which placed Cristina García Rodero at the forefront of the international photography scene, is a unique testimony that portrays the spirit and rural landscape of our country at a very special moment in history.
